It is thought that Alabama Rot is picked up on paws and legs from muddy woodland walks, so it is beneficial to wash your pets paws immediately after going on these walks. Although the cause of Alabama Rot is still unknown prevention is the best way of dealing with this until further information is released. Should you see your dog scratching and a lesion forming then contact your vet immediately.
