Always set your dog up to win not fail, if your dog reacts to a certain trigger or in a certain situation remove them or give them a greater distance from it. This way you are diluting their reaction, the closer you get the harder the reaction as you can see below, which means the greater the distance the more your dog can work under their threshold with less to no reaction.
